As Serrano is not always easy to find, feel free to substitute prosciutto. Either way, your foodie friends will be blown away by this Italian-inspired chicken and you will be amazed that it takes under twenty minutes to make.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 20 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>2 boneless-skinless chicken breasts \u2013 halved lengthwise<\/address>\n<address>8 slices Serrano ham or prosciutto<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon butter<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil<\/address>\n<address>1 large clove garlic \u2013 finely chopped<\/address>\n<address>4 fresh sage leaves \u2013 thinly sliced<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc cup dry white wine<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice<\/address>\n<address>\u215b teaspoon fresh ground black pepper<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place the chicken breast between sheets of waxed paper and hit with the base of a heavy cast pan or mallet to flatten to \u00bc\u201d to \u215c\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Place a slice of ham on both sides of each chicken breast and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Place the butter, olive oil and garlic in a heavy pan and place on high heat. Once the butter is hot, carefully add the chicken, cooking for two minutes per side.<\/p>\n<p>Mix together the sage, wine, lemon juice and black pepper then add to the pan. Bring the liquid to a boil for one minute and remove from heat.
