The range of textures in this tikka spin will amaze you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 30 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>1 cup plain yogurt<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon garam masala<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon chili powder<\/address>\n<address>2 teaspoons kosher salt<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc cup fresh lemon juice<\/address>\n<address>1 pound boneless-skinless chicken breast \u2013 cubed to 1\u201d<\/address>\n<address>1 bunch fresh cilantro \u2013 chopped<\/address>\n<address>1 cabbage \u2013 thinly sliced or shredded<\/address>\n<address>4 tomatoes \u2013 coarsely diced<\/address>\n<address>1 red onion \u2013 finely sliced<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat your oven broiler on high.<\/p>\n<p>Mix the yogurt, garam masala, chili powder, salt and lemon juice in a medium bowl and add the chicken, stirring to coat. You can perform this step and refrigerate for up to a day ahead for even better flavor blending.<\/p>\n<p>Pour the yogurt\/chicken mixture into a casserole dish (line it with aluminum foil first to ease cleanup) and place it under the broiler. Stir the mixture every five minutes for twenty minutes to ensure even cooking and slight browning of the chicken pieces. Remove from broiler and stir in fresh cilantro.<\/p>\n<p>Toss the cabbage, tomatoes and onion and top with the chicken mixture, drizzling with the cooking liquid as a dressing.
