If you don&#8217;t have a smoker, blister them in a frying pan on medium-high heat instead. Either way, they&#8217;re delicious!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time: 70 minutes (plus marinating time)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serves: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>120g extra-virgin olive oil<br>20g harissa<br>3 cloves garlic \u2013 chopped<br>300g cracked green olives with pits \u2013 drained<br>Zest of one lemon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, harissa, and garlic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the olives in a bowl just big enough to hold them, and cover with the oil mixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cover the bowl and let stand at room temperature overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preheat your smoker to 110C (225F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drain the olives, discarding the oil, and place in a single layer on a baking sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Smoke for one hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove from the smoker and toss with lemon zest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serve warm or refrigerate to serve later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kevskitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Smoky-Harissa-Olives.pdf\">Get the PDF and nutrition info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Only ten minutes of the prep time is active.
