Use ghee for the richness if you can. They key to success is getting the pan ripping hot to cook the shrimp quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time: 30 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serves: 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>40g ghee (or butter)<br>1 yellow onion \u2013 diced<br>2 cloves garlic &#8211; finely chopped<br>5g salt<br>3g fresh grated ginger<br>3g chili powder<br>0.5g ground gloves<br>0.5g ground cinnamon<br>0.5g garam masala<br>0.5g ground cardamom<br>450g large shrimp \u2013 peeled<br>15g cilantro (about half a bunch) &#8211; finely chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><br>Place a large frying pan on medium heat and add the ghee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the ghee is hot, add the onion, stirring occasionally until translucent (about five minutes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stir in all remaining ingredients except shrimp and cilantro. Cook for one minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turn heat to high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the shrimp, stirring often until cooked through (58C internal temperature if you have a thermometer sharp enough and the shrimp are large enough to test).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove from heat and stir in most of the cilantro, reserving some for garnish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serve immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kevskitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Butter-Shrimp.pdf\">Get the PDF and nutrition info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Think butter chicken flavours, but shrimp.
