Add salt to taste as needed depending how much is already in the salsa or stock. It&#8217;s adapted from a version my mom made one day when I stopped by during lunch, so you can thank her for the idea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 20 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>540ml can black beans &#8211; rinsed and drained<br \/>\n398ml can pinto beans &#8211; rinsed and drained<br \/>\n250ml chunky salsa<br \/>\n250ml chicken stock<br \/>\n15ml fresh lime juice<br \/>\n120g cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese &#8211; shredded<br \/>\n4 green onions &#8211; thinly sliced<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place a pot on high heat. Add the beans, salsa and chicken stock.
