If you&#8217;ve ever had a dish with &#8220;greens&#8221; in an Asian restaurant, you&#8217;ve likely had water spinach. You can find it fresh in most Asian markets and cook it up in all it&#8217;s delicious freshness with this simple recipe. Being a stir-fry, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mise_en_place\">mise en place<\/a> is key. Measure the ingredients before you begin cooking because once you start, it&#8217;s nearly done.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 10 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>25g grapeseed or other neutral flavoured oil<br \/>\n4 cloves garlic &#8211; chopped<br \/>\n500g water spinach &#8211; bases discarded and stalks\/leaves cut to 5cm pieces<br \/>\n1 red Thai chili &#8211; seeded and thinly sliced<br \/>\n25g oyster sauce<br \/>\n15g water<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat a wok with the oil on high.<\/p>\n<p>When the oil just begins to smoke, add the garlic, stirring constantly for ten seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Add the spinach and chili, stirring constantly until the spinach leaves darken.<\/p>\n<p>Add the oyster sauce and water, stirring constantly for ten seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the spinach from the wok and serve immediately.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kevskitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Water-Spinach.pdf\">Get the PDF and nutrition info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is water spinach, you ask?
