My fitness\/bodybuilding coach,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.higherlevelfitness.net\"> Coach V<\/a>, has me eating 225 grams of protein a day and getting that from naturally raised meats (I refuse to buy feed lot\/factory meat) would have me filing for bankruptcy in short order. Free-range eggs are inexpensive, packed with protein and incredibly versatile. Give this preparation a try for breakfast, lunch or dinner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 15 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5g grapeseed or other neutral-flavoured oil<br \/>\n4 large free-range eggs<br \/>\n2g kosher salt<br \/>\n0.5g garam masala<br \/>\n1 Thai chili &#8211; seeded and finely chopped<br \/>\n1 shallot &#8211; small dice<br \/>\n1 clove garlic &#8211; finely chopped or grated<br \/>\n4g fresh ginger &#8211; grated<br \/>\n1 roma tomato &#8211; seeded &#8211; small dice<br \/>\n5g cilantro &#8211; chopped<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place a frying pan on medium heat and add the oil.<\/p>\n<p>In a suitable bowl, whisk together the eggs, one gram of the salt and the garam masala.<\/p>\n<p>Add the chili, shallot, garlic and ginger to the frying pan. Cook, stirring occasionally for two minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add the tomato and remaining gram of salt, cooking for another minute.<\/p>\n<p>Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring constantly with a whisk until the eggs are just set.<\/p>\n<p>Remove from heat and stir in the cilantro.<\/p>\n<p>Serve immediately.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kevskitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Indian-Eggs.pdf\">Get the PDF and nutrition info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be prepared for a lot more egg recipes from me.
