I made this in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blendtec.com\" target=\"_blank\">Blendtec<\/a> blender and if you have a Vitamix, it will produce an equally fine result. If you haven&#8217;t got a high-powered blender, you can use a food processor, though the texture won&#8217;t be quite as smooth.<\/p>\n<p>I went with the classic combination of yam and cinnamon, adding a touch of cayenne to keep things from getting cloyingly sweet. Feel free to experiment with spices to make this recipe your own.
