If so, you are absolutely correct. The preparation wasn&#8217;t quite what I wanted though, so fortunately, I got to make (read &#8220;eat&#8221;) them again. Here&#8217;s a version I know you&#8217;ll be very happy with.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 50 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>600g (approx. 1 large) yam &#8211; peeled and cubed to 2cm<br \/>\n20g grapeseed or other neutral-flavoured oil<br \/>\n3 large cloves garlic &#8211; finely chopped or grated<br \/>\n3g kosher salt<br \/>\n0.5g fresh ground black pepper<br \/>\n6 green onions &#8211; green portion only &#8211; sliced<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 400F.<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, toss all ingredients except green onions.<\/p>\n<p>Spread on a baking sheet and place in oven for 35 minutes, turning once at halfway point.<\/p>\n<p>Serve garnished with green onion.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kevskitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Roasted-Yams.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Get the PDF and nutrition info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You may have noticed what appear to be roasted yams in the plating of last week&#8217;s breakfast sausage.
