What could be better than restaurant classic that you can make from scratch in less time than it takes to get delivery? If you&#8217;ve never had egg drop soup, the texture of the egg will surprise you. It&#8217;s incredibly delicate and not at all what you might think.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 20 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>2 teaspoons grapeseed or other neutral tasting oil<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons ginger \u2013 finely chopped<\/address>\n<address>4 cloves garlic &#8211; finely chopped or grated<\/address>\n<address>6 cups chicken stock<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons fish sauce<\/address>\n<address>4 eggs \u2013 beaten<\/address>\n<address>Pinch fresh ground black pepper<\/address>\n<address>Salt to taste<\/address>\n<address>4 green onions \u2013 thinly sliced<\/address>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place a large pot on medium heat and add the oil. When the oil is hot, add the ginger and garlic, stirring constantly for 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Add two cups of chicken stock to the pot and bring the heat to high. Reduce the heat to simmer for ten minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Strain the stock in the pot, discarding the garlic and ginger. Return the stock to the pot and add the remaining four cups.
