If you&#8217;re looking for something more substantial, the decidedly Mexican flavours tell me adding some beans would be an excellent choice. Don&#8217;t skip the step of straining the light sauce or it&#8217;ll likely be quite grainy from all of the ground spices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 30 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>2 cups chicken stock<\/address>\n<address>1 clove garlic &#8211; finely chopped or grated<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon paprika<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon chili powder<\/address>\n<address>1 teaspoon xylitol or other sugar substitute<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd teaspoon ground cumin<\/address>\n<address>1 teaspoon kosher salt<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons coconut oil<\/address>\n<address>1 pound turkey breast &#8211; sliced<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc teaspoon fresh ground black pepper<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd red onion \u2013 thinly sliced<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd cup feta cheese \u2013 crumbled<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd cup cilantro leaves \u2013 roughly chopped<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Combine the stock, garlic, paprika, chili, xylitol, cumin and half the salt in a small sauce pot over high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to maintain a slight boil for ten minutes while preparing the other ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the sauce from heat and strain through a fine sieve.<\/p>\n<p>Place the coconut oil in a wok or frying pan on high heat. Sprinkle the remaining salt and the pepper on the turkey. Once the pan begins to smoke, stir-fry the turkey until cooked through.<\/p>\n<p>Plate the turkey and pour over the sauce.
