A usual, I served it with hefty portions of dry-aged beef so that nobody would mistake me for a vegan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 30 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>1 pound green beans \u2013 trimmed and cut into 2\u201d pieces<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd teaspoon Dijon mustard<\/address>\n<address>2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar<\/address>\n<address>1 clove garlic \u2013 very finely chopped or crushed<\/address>\n<address>1 pinch kosher salt<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd pound cherry tomatoes \u2013 quartered<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd cup chives \u2013 chopped<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons fresh basil \u2013 chopped<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons fresh oregano &#8211; chopped<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place a pot containing a steaming basket along with enough water to touch the bottom of the basket on high heat. When the water comes to a boil, add the beans, cover the pot loosely and steam for five minutes.<\/p>\n<p>While the beans are steaming, whisk together the oil, mustard, balsamic, garlic and salt in a small bowl.<\/p>\n<p>Once the beans are cooked, pour them into a colander and rinse with cold water until cool.
