(Better luck next post.)<\/p>\n<p>The first time I had corn on the cob with this flavour profile was years ago when we joined the beautiful friends (and brilliant cooks) we refer to as &#8220;The GGs&#8221;. I was again reminded of how good grilled corn can be when it accompanied an excellent lunch at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winnipegfreepress.com\/local\/deer--almond-joy-158343635.html\" target=\"_blank\">Deer &amp; Almond<\/a> a week ago and that inspired this rendition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 25 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>2 tablespoons butter<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon fresh lime juice<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd teaspoon ground cumin<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd teaspoon chili powder<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd teaspoon ground coriander<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc teaspoon kosher salt<\/address>\n<address>4 cobs corn \u2013 husked and cut in two<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat your barbecue on medium.<\/p>\n<p>Place a small pot on low heat to melt the butter.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the pot from heat and stir in all remaining ingredients except the corn.<\/p>\n<p>Lightly baste the corn with the butter mixture and grill, turning and basting occasionally for ten minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Serve immediately.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kevskitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Chili-Corn.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Get the PDF and nutrition info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paleo eaters take note.
