Take it to your next group barbecue and get ready for a lineup of people asking for the recipe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 30 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>2 cups water<\/address>\n<address>1\u201d piece fresh ginger \u2013 peeled<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons dark sesame oil<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon sriracha (chili garlic sauce)<\/address>\n<address>1 pound boneless-skinless chicken thighs<\/address>\n<address>1 pound coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage<\/address>\n<address>6 radishes \u2013 coarsely grated<\/address>\n<address>6 green onions \u2013 sliced<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc cup cilantro leaves<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc cup fresh mint leaves \u2013 torn or roughly chopped<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc cup fresh basil leaves \u2013 torn or roughly chopped<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons cider vinegar<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons fish sauce<\/address>\n<address>2 tablespoons fresh lime juice<\/address>\n<address>1 teaspoon Kosher salt<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place the water, ginger and one tablespoon of the sesame oil in a heavy cast pan over high heat and bring to a boil.<\/p>\n<p>Add the chicken thighs to the pan, allow to return to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for ten minutes.<\/p>\n<p>While the chicken is cooking, place all remaining ingredients, including the tablespoon of sesame oil into a large bowl and toss well to blend evenly.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the chicken from the pan after ten minutes or when the internal temperature reaches 170F. Let it rest for five minutes, then use two forks to pull the pieces apart, shredding the meat.
