Be sure to cook this in a well-ventiliated area or be prepared to listen to your smoke detector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 30 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the salsa:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>14 ounce can crushed pineapple \u2013 drained<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd red onion \u2013 chopped<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd jalapeno pepper \u2013 seeded and finely chopped<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd cup fresh cilantro \u2013 chopped<\/address>\n<address>1 tablespoon fresh lime juice<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd teaspoon kosher salt<\/address>\n<address>\u00bc teaspoon fresh ground black pepper<\/address>\n<address>\u00bd teaspoon chili powder<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>For the steak:<\/strong><\/p>\n<address>4 \u2013 6 ounce grass-fed beef sirloin steaks<\/address>\n<address>1 teaspoon chili powder<\/address>\n<address>1 teaspoon kosher salt<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix all salsa ingredients in a bowl and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Preheat a heavy cast frying pan on high.<\/p>\n<p>Evenly sprinkle the remaining chili powder and salt on both sides of the steak.<\/p>\n<p>Place the steaks in the pan and do not press. Cook on high for two minutes then reduce heat to medium-low for three minutes. Turn steaks over and again cook on high for two minutes then medium-low for three minutes.
