Bananas & Yogurt

My wife and I were at my parents’ place for dinner this past week and my mom made banana frozen yogurt in the food processor. It was fantastic and I probably should have asked her exactly how she made it, but where’s the challenge in that? What I came up with uses way more banana than yogurt, but maybe hers did too. Either way, it’s great a is even better garnished with fresh, local raspberries.

On another note, I may not get around to creating a new recipe for next weekend, as we’re spending a week of vacation in Newfoundland. We’ve rented a house mind you, so if I’m really in the mood to cook and find the time, a new recipe may still happen.

Time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

2 large ripe bananas – peeled and frozen in chunks
15g honey
150g plain Balkan style yogurt

Preparation:

Place the bananas and honey in a food processor with an “S” blade. Process until reaching the texture of small peas.

Add the yogurt and process until smooth.

Serve immediately.
